Local High School Stars Sign National Letters of Intent

Two local high school sports standouts signed on the dotted line Wednesday, confirming their collegiate committments.

Branford Rogers of Saint Anne's Belfield has signed to attend Rutgers University on a lacrosse scholarship. A standout for the Saints' lacrosse team, Rogers was also a star running back on the football team and played on the basketball team as well.

Fluvanna County's YaYa Anderson signed his letter of intent to attend Radford University on a basketball scholarship. The reigning State AA Player of the Year and Jefferson District Player of the Year, Anderson is also a star athlete on the Flucos' football team.
