Louisa County football standout Andre Mealy has made his college decision.
Mealy will attend James Madison next year and play football for the Dukes, Louisa athletic director Mike Parsons announced by email Wednesday morning.
The school will hold a signing ceremony at 3 p.m. Friday.
After missing the entire 2010 season with an injury, Mealy bounced back to rush for 1,713 yards and 25 touchdowns as a senior last fall. He was also being recruiting by another CAA team, Richmond (as a running back), and D-II Shepherd University (as a linebacker).
