Five Jefferson District teams will get to keep playing as the Region II playoffs will kickoff next weekend.
Louisa earned the top seed in Division 4. The Lions finished 10-0 and will face James Wood in the first round. Louisa experienced a first round exit last year and will look to avoid that this time around. Orange also earns a playoff spot in Division 4. The Hornets, who finished the regular season 7-3, will enter as the seventh seed and head to Briar Woods for first round action.
Monticello earns the number four seed in Division 3 after a 6-4 finish. The Mustangs will host Jefferson District rival Goochland in the first round. Monticello coming from behind to beat the Bulldogs, 29-28, in the regular season. Western Albemarle also sneaking into the mix as the eight seed. They'll travel to top seeded Handley to open things up. The Warriors finished 4-6 in the regular season.
STAB will host state semifinal action this weekend as well. The date, time and opponent has yet to be announced.
Dates and times will be announced on Monday for these match ups.
