Thursday was a rough day for Western Albemarle swimmer Remedy Rule at the US Olympic Team Trials.
The 15-year-old was disqualified from her heat in the 200-meter butterfly prelims. Rule entered the race seeded 37th out of 135 swimmers with a time of 2:12.92.
Rule still has one event to swim at the week-long team trials. She is seeded 131s in Saturday's 200-meter backstroke prelims with a time of 2:17.22. Rule finished 109th out of 161 swimmers in Monday's prelims of the 100-meter butterfly.
