Two area private school teams will kickoff in the VISAA playoffs this Friday night in hopes of beginning their road to a state championship.
Saint Anne's Belfield enters as the top seed in Division I and will host Christchurch this Friday night at 7:00 pm. John Blake's team finished the regular season with a 9-1 record. The two teams met two weeks ago, with STAB earning the 20-13 victory.
Fork Union will travel for state semifinal action ths Friday, as the Blue Devils head to Liberty Christian on Friday night at 7:30 pm. FUMA hosted LCA earlier this season, falling tot he Bulldogs, 35-20. The Bulldogs were 4-5 in regular season play.
With Friday wins, both STAD and FUMA will earn spots in the state championship game.
