Jalen Harrison's recruiting stock continues to rise, in the opinion of one prominent national baseball site.
Subscription-based website Perfect Game unveiled its first look at its class of 2016 rankings, with Harrison rated as the top prospect in the state of Virginia. He's also ranked as the state's top outfield prospect, and the No. 21 overall prospect (and No. 6 outfielder) in the country.
Harrison is coming off a strong summer with the Virginia Knights travel team, which played in showcase tournaments up and down the east coast. He recently transferred from Fluvanna County to St. Anne's-Belfield, where he reclassified from the class of 2015 to 2016.
