With signing day now less than three weeks away, Monticello's Jhalil Mosley has an unexpected decision to make.
According to a source close to the quarterback, William and Mary is making a late recruiting push for Mosley. The source says Mosley remains committed to James Madison, but the Tribe's strong push has the school back on Mosley's radar.
Mosley initially committed to JMU last July, choosing the Dukes over the Tribe and VMI.
According to the source, recent coaching staff changes at JMU may have impacted Mosley's status with the Dukes. Offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Jeff Durden was fired at JMU last December, and earlier this week assistant Latrell Scott -- a big player in Mosley's recruitment, the source said -- left to take the head coaching job at Division II Virginia State.
Mosley threw for 1,243 yards and 16 touchdowns, and ran for 688 yards and eight scores as a senior at Monticello last season.
