At Charlottesville High School, Sarah Nissen has been making her mark in the classroom, in athletics, and with the band. The most amazing part is how she excels at all three.
Sarah carries a 3.7 grade-point-average in the classroom and was an honor student from fifth through tenth grade before becoming a member of the National Honors Society her junior and senior years.
During her high school career, Sarah was also a member of the Marching Band and Wind Ensemble at Charlottesville High School. With the Wind Ensemble she was a 1st chair bass clarinetist.
She's no slouch in athletics either. Sarah is an accomplished field hockey player for the Black Knights and also shines on the basketball court.
