Girls basketball is always a force to be reckoned with at Western Albemarle High School. A big part of the success comes from their leadership. Four seniors anchor this seasons squad, and they are led by Erin Steva, the gritty point guard who's also a clutch player.
Erin is also a star on the soccer field for Western, but also shines in the classroom. She maintains a 4.03 weighted grade point average, but insists that handling the school work with sports is not difficult at all.
Erin will continue her education at Virginia Tech next fall, as she follows in her footsteps of her brother and mother who are both Hokies.
