Lexy Eckerle played a big part of the success in the Western Albemarle girls basketball's team through the playoffs this season. She was a starter on the team and also showcases her talent on the soccer field.
Lexy has received numerous accolades for her play as goal keeper for the Warriors, as she's starts her fourth year as a starter, and her second as a captain. Being a captain is role that Lexy embellishes and looks to influence the underclassmen on the team as the season begins.
In the classroom, Lexy boasts a 3.9 grade point average and doesn't find a problem balancing school work, two varsity sports, a club soccer team in the fall, and a part time job. She also says that if it the school work is a motivation on the playing field.
