On the field, Darcy Alimenti is the strongest link in the chain that is the Monticello field hockey team. She's one of the squads senior captains while also doing her part in the classroom with a 4.61 weighted grade point average.
However, it goes beyond the field and the classroom where you get to know Darcy Alimenti. During her freshman year, her brother was diagnosed with leukemia and her junior year, her mother was also diagnosed with cancer. These experiences are a contributing factor for her dedication to become a nurse.
Recently, Darcy interned at Downtown Family Health Care, Red Cross, and volunteered at University of Virginia medical center with over 300 hours of volunteer service.
Upon graduation from Monticello, Darcy will attend the UVa School of Nursing in the Fall.
