Seminoles Hand Cavaliers First Loss of Season
- The last regular season loss for the Virginia women's soccer team came nearly two years ago, a 1-0 overtime defeat at Florida State on Oct. 14, 2012. The 'Hoos won their next 31 regular season games before falling to the Seminoles 1-0 Sunday in Tallahassee.

- After falling at home to Davidson on Wednesday, the Virginia men’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 game at No. 18 Syracuse Saturday night.
Johns Leads Virginia Past Kent State
- Matt Johns overcame two early interceptions and threw for two touchdowns and ran for one Saturday as Virginia pulled away after halftime to beat Kent State 45-13.
Gooch Making Most of Final Season at UVa
- Miles Gooch's first career catch at Virginia was a memorable one. In Nov. of 2012, the then-sophomore wide receiver caught a touchdown pass from Michael Rocco in UVa's win over Miami.
