The Cavalier women's basketball improved to 6-2 in the ACC with a win against Florida State on Sunday. The Cavs topped the Seminoles 77-58. UVa outscored FSU by 20 in the second half. Lyndra Littles led all scorers with 23 points. Monica Wright followed with 14 points. Aisha Mohammad notched her 10th double-double of the season with 10 points and 10 rebounds. The Cavaliers are now 6-2 in the ACC and sit in fourth place in the conference standings.
In the first half, senior Sharnee Zoll reached her 700th career assist. She dished out a total of nine assists. Zoll is just 22 assists away from tying Dawn Staley's all-time assist record at UVa.
