Sean Singletary's 27 points lifted the Cavaliers past Maryland Sunday, 91-76, as the All-American celebrated an emotional Senior Night. Singletary's performance pushes him past 2,000 career points (2,002), as he becomes the fifth Cavalier, and 39th ACC player to reach the milestone. Singletary had his jersey retired before the game, and was honored with three other seniors.
Six Cavaliers scored in double-figures for the first time since 2001.
Virginia takes the 10-seed in the ACC Tournament. They will play 7-seed Georgia Tech on Thursday in Charlotte.
