When the Virginia men's lacrosse team takes the field to battle Duke on Saturday, it will mean a little bit more to senior midfielder Peter Lamade. Lamade played three seasons at Duke, helping the Blue Devils win an ACC title, before transferring to Virginia.
The Cavaliers will look to Lamade to bring the winning touch this weekend. Virginia has not beaten Duke in its last four attempts, and only one player, goalie Bud Petit, was on the roster the last time the Wahoos topped the Blue Devils back in 2004.
Saturday's match up will feature the nation's second ranked team in Duke going up against third ranked Virginia. The Blue Devils enter the contest 11-1, while the Cavs are 10-1. Face off is set for 6:00 at Klockner Stadium.
