Cavs top Wake Forest in 11 Innings

Jarrett Parker's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the 11th inning to score Corey Hunt lifted the Cavaliers over Wake Forest, 3-2, Sunday. The 16th-ranked Cavs improve to 31-11, 13-8 in the ACC.

Michael Schwimer pitched 3.1 innings in relief for the win, holding the Demon Deacons without a run, and allowing just one hit. Starting pitcher Andrew Carraway gave up two runs over seven innings.

Jeremy Farrell and Franco Valdes led the Cavs with two hits apiece, while Jarrett Parker drove in the tying and winning runs.

Tha Cavaliers host Georgetown on Tuesday.
