Syracuse's Mike Leveille scored a sudden victory goal in double overtime to give the Orange a 12-11 win over Virginia in the NCAA Lacrosse Semifinals.
Virginia led 6-3 at the half and would go up by as many as 5 in the second half. But Syracuse rallied to tie the game at the end of regulation and capped its comeback with Leveille's game-winner, his fifth goal of the game.
Danny Glading led the way with 3 goals and an assist, and Garrett Billings added two goals for the Cavs. Virginia finishes the season with a mark of 14-4.
Syracuse will take on Johns Hopkins in Monday's NCAA Championship game. The Blue Jays knocked off top-seed Duke 10-9.
