Former Cavalier guard Sharnee Zoll continues to develop as a professional basketball player, as the all time ACC assists leader takes the court with the WNBA's Minnesota Lynx. Zoll is doing her best to work into the system, and earn the chance to see some more playing time at the professional level.
The former Cavalier has appeared in six games with the Lynx, averaging five minutes per contest, and 1.7 points per game. Her most recent appearance was back on June 12, when she played four minutes in an 82-78 Minnesota loss to Sacramento, scoring one point.
Zoll has the advantage of growing and maturing with a team that is among the WNBA's best. Currently, the Lynx sit second in the Western Conference with a 6-4 record. Zoll's former coach, Debbie Ryan, says that the former Cavalier would like to see more playing time, but is taking advantage of the opportunity that she has.
Minnesota picked up Zoll after she was waived by the Los Angeles Sparks, who drafted her in the third round of the WNBA Draft.
