The UVa Board of Supervisors approved the installment of a new video board at Scott Stadium today, which will be installed in time for the opening of the 2009 season.
The 2.4 million dollar video board will be more than three times the size of the one currently at Scott Stadium. Fans will be able to get a much bigger view come 2009, as the new addition is slated to be in by the season opener.
Virginia football will have seven home games on its schedule in 2008, the final year of the current video board, beginning with Southern California on August 30.
