Al Groh sat down with CBS19's Marc Davis for their weekly Monday interview and discussed Saturday's 16-0 win against Richmond. Coach Groh says that he and the team were very pleased with a lot of things about Saturday's victory.

Groh talked about how the Spiders exhibit the energy and passion of their head coach, Mike London. He also says he is pleased with Peter Lalich's progress at quarterback in just one week, as well as wide receiver Kevin Ogletree's progress after returning from injury. The head coach also praised his defense for its tough play, after being challenged by field position numerous times during Saturday's contest.

The Cavaliers committed nine penalties for 103 yards on Saturday, something that Coach Groh says is unacceptable for his team. He says that the Cavaliers have already watched the film and broken down why the penalties were called. He also looked ahead to Virginia's game at Connecticut this Saturday night.
