Junior guard Calvin Baker has not been able to participate in preseason camp due to an injured left foot, an injury which could require surgery. If Baker does go under the knife, he could miss most, if not all, of the 2008-2009 season.

The guard was expected to see significant time at both the point guard and shooting guard spots this season. He was Virginia's fourth leading scorer last year with 8.6 points per game. Both he and Jamil Tucker have been held out of practice so far due to injury.

We will keep you updated on the status of Baker and his foot injury. Click on the above video link to hear from Baker's teammates about hitting the court.
