The Cavalier football team has made several improvements during the course of the season. After uncertainty at quarterback and a less-than-stellar passing game during the first four games of the season, the offense has come alive through the air.

Virginia talked about its receivers earlier in the week, as their recent success has opened up a lot of opportunities for their offense. After having no passing or receiving touchdowns during the first four contests, the Cavaliers have responded with four scores through the air during the last three games. Kevin Ogletree has posted three games with 100 yards or more, and Jared Green, Cary Koch, and tight end John Phillips have all played key roles.

Quarterback Marc Verica has come alive as well, leading the Cavaliers to three straight wins. The sophomore has recorded three TD passes in the last three games.
