Jonathan Villanueva scored two goals and Matt Mitchell and Brian Ownby added a score each, as the Cavalier men's soccer team topped American, 4-2, in action on Tuesday night. The victory comes in Virginia's final non-conference game of the season.

Junior Jonathan Villanueva took control in the second half, finding the back of the net twice for his first two goals of the season, putting Virginia ahead with a comfortable 4-0 lead. The Eagles added two goals prior to the final buzzer, but it was not enough as the Cavaliers grabbed the 4-2 win.
