The Cavalier football team is coming off its final open date of the season, and had some time to fix some mistakes that led to two straight losses. During his weekly appearance on CBS19 News at Noon, head coach Al Groh talked about some of the things his team had accomplished during the bye week.

After Virginia's loss to Wake Forest, Groh commented on quarterback Marc Verica and his interceptions. The head coach talked about his sophomore QB again today, saying that Verica is aware that it is an issue and that he is working to correct it.

Groh concluded by talking about Clemson, as the Tigers come in as a very talented team. Clemson and Virginia will kick off at noon on Saturday at Scott Stadium.

Al Groh sits down with CBS19's Marc Davis every Monday during CBS19 News at Noon. Click on the above video link to view this week's interview.
