Mike Scott scored 15 points and pulled down ten boards, leading Virginia to the 74-50 victory over Brown in the Cavaliers' non-conference finale. The Wahoos improve to 7-5, and finish their non-conference schedule 6-5.
Virginia took the lead less than two minutes into the game and never relinquished it, leading by as many as 26 in the second half. The Cavaliers held a ten point lead at halftime and pulled away in the second half for the big win.
In addition to Scott's game high 15 points, Sammy Zeglinski added 14, while the Cavaliers got another nine from Mustapha Farrakhan. Mamadi Diane returned to the starting lineup, scoring seven points on 3-of-8 shooting, including a three pointer.
