Virginia Football announced Wednesday that 25 student-athletes have signed their national letters of intent to attend and play football at the University of Virginia
Head coach Al Groh did put emphasis on signing talent from within the state, and in doing so, 16 of the 25 signees are from the state of Virginia.
Locally, a notable signee is Orange County High School's Quintin Hunter. The 6' 1" quarterback has accumulated over 1000 yards rushing and receiving while scoring 35 touchdowns in just his senior year.
Around the state, some other notables include Hunter Steward, a 6' 8" 315lb offensive lineman from Virginia Beach, and Morgan Moses, a 6' 7" 330lb offensive lineman who is a four-star recruit and also considered to be one of the best offensive lineman in the country.
Coach Groh also mentioned that these 25 student-athletes are one of his strongest recruiting classes during his tenure at UVa.
