Cavalier forward Lyndra Littles received an invitation to the 2009 WNBA Draft and did not leave disappointed. Littles was drafted 17th overall by the Connecticut Sun, which was the fourth pick of the second round.
Littles put together a solid four years at Virginia, including a stand out senior year. After missing the first nine games of the season due to academics, Littles responded by scoring 19.9 points per game and pulling down 6.4 rebounds per contest as well. She played an average of 32.5 minutes each time out. Littles also earned All ACC First Team honors, and was the conference's player of the week twice.
Littles makes her way to a Connecticut team that finished 21-13 in 2008. She'll be joined by Duke's Chante Black, who was drafted by the Sun in the first round.
