The 2009 NLF Draft kicks off this Saturday, with several former Cavaliers waiting to find out where their future homes will be. Last season, Chris Long stole the spotlight, as he was the number two overall pick. This year, a lineman on the offensive side of the ball has a shot at going that high.

Eugene Monroe is widely regarded as one of the best offensive tackles in the nation. Monroe is projected to be selected anywhere from second to ninth in mock drafts around the country. The second pick, once again, belongs to the Rams, meaning that Monroe and Long could potentially be teammates once again.

Clint Sintim is also a first round possibility. Sintim was a key linebacker in Virginia's 3-4 defense, and racked up eleven sacks in 2008. Running back Cedric Peerman, wide receiver Kevin Ogletree, and tight end John Phillips also have legitimate professional futures ahead of them.
