Ben Rubeor scored three goals and dished out two assists, as the Cavalier men's lacrosse team knocked off Maryland, 11-10, in the ACC semifinals. The win ensures that Virginia will get the chance to defend its conference title from a year ago.

The Wahoos clung to a 7-6 lead at the half, and opened up a three goal lead at 9-6 in the third quarter. The Terrapins made a fourth quarter charge, but were unable to come back for the win.

The Cavalier victory sets up a rematch with Duke, who won 13-9 in the other semifinal tonight. The Blue Devils handed Virginia its only conference loss of the season, 7-6, in overtime back on April 14th.

Sunday's championship game is set for 3:30 at Duke.
