Balanced Attack Leads Cavs Past Flames

The Virginia men's basketball team improved to 4-1 with a 75-53 win over Liberty Saturday at John Paul Jones Arena in the first round of the Corpus Christi Challenge.

Anthony Gill led the Wahoos with 13 points and Malcolm Brogdon added 12. The Cavs shot 48% from the field and hit nine three-pointers. Virginia's defense held Liberty to under 40% shooting for the game.

The Cavaliers are back in action Tuesday when they host Hampton in the second round of the Corpus Christi Challenge.
