Justin Anderson led UVa with 16 points, four rebounds and three assists along with two blocks. Joe Harris added 12 points and seven rebounds.
The Cavaliers scored only one basket in the first 6:50 of the game and yet never trailed. UVa finished just 20-of-53 from the floor, including 7-of-26 from three point range.
The win broke a two-game losing streak for the Cavaliers, who improve to 8-3 on the season. UVa will be back on the court on Monday, when they host Norfolk State at 7 p.m.
