After trailing by as many as 11 in the second half, the No. 14 Virginia men's basketball team came back to beat Virginia Tech 57-53 Tuesday night in Blacksburg.
The Cavaliers shot 6-for-12 from beyond the arc in the second half, including 4-of-5 in the final four minutes. Justin Anderson scored all 9 of his points in the final 3:27 of the game.
Malcolm Brogdon led UVa in scoring with 12 points, while London Perrantes added 11. The 'Hoos win came despite a tough night on the free throw, with UVa finishing at 53-percent on 8-for-15 shooting. The win improves the 'Hoos to 22-5 on the season and extends their winning streak to 10 games.
At 13-1 in the ACC, the Cavaliers have now tied the most conference wins in program history. They have also now won five-straight over Virginia Tech.
UVa returns home to face Notre Dame Saturday at John Paul Jones Arena, where tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
