With the start of preseason camp just days away, the Virginia football team continues to build momentum on the recruiting trail.
New Jersey native Christopher Sharp became the latest player to commit to the Cavaliers on Friday, becoming the 14th member of the team's recruiting class for 2015.
Sharp is graded as a three-star linebacker by 247Sports.com and a two-star linebacker by Rivals.com, but reportedly was recruited by UVa as a running back. According to Wahoos247, Sharp chose the Cavaliers over Rutgers and Iowa, with Virginia being the only school to offer Sharp as a running back.
Sharp joins Olamide Zaccheaus of Philadelphia as the second running back to commit to the Cavaliers this week. Five of the 14 players in UVa's recruiting class have given commitments in the past month.
