Virginia's streak of NCAA men's soccer tournament appearances will continue on Thursday when the Cavaliers host Lafayette.
The match will mark the 32nd straight year Virginia has hosted an NCAA tournament game. The program's 32 consecutive NCAA appearances is the longest current streak in the country.
The match will begin at 1:30 p.m. Thursday.
The Cavaliers enter the game at 9-6-4 on the season, but unbeaten in their last six matches. Virginia reached the semifinals of the ACC tournament before being eliminated by North Carolina in a penalty-kick shootout.
The Cavaliers -- whose lineup regularly features nine underclassmen, including six freshmen -- finished the season ranked No. 15 in the national RPI.
Thursday's match will mark Lafayette's first NCAA appearance since 2005. The Leopards earned an automatic berth in the tournament by upsetting top-seed American 2-0 in the Patriot League championship on Sunday.
