The Virginia baseball team completed its first three-game sweep of Miami with a 7-4 victory Monday in Coral Gables.
Derek Fisher had three hits, Mitchell Shifflett drove in two runs and three other Cavs had a pair of hits in the win.
Artie Lewicki got the win on the mound, going 6.1 innings with only 2 earned runs. He struck out five.
The Cavs took advantage of five Hurricane errors in the win, scoring three runs in the second and three in the sixth.
Virginia (31-14-1, 14-10) was to face Mount St. Mary's on Tuesday but that game has been canceled. The Cavs will now be off the next eight days for final exams and will resume play May 9 at home against High Point.
