Clint Sintim's football coaching career is leading him back to Charlottesville.
The Virginia football program announced Wednesday afternoon that Sintim is returning to his alma mater as a graduate assistant. Sintim will assist with coaching the wide receivers this season.
Sintim played four seasons at linebacker at UVa, earning All-ACC second team honors in 2008. The New York Giants took Sintim in Round 2 of the NFL Draft, but a series of knee injuries cut his pro career short.
Sintim retired from the NFL in May 2013, finishing his career with 33 tackles and one sack.
