Virginia has added another five-star prospect to its incoming football recruiting class for 2014.
Defensive tackle Andrew Brown announced during a live ESPN.com web stream on Saturday that he will play football for the Cavaliers. Brown picked UVa over Virginia Tech, Clemson, Florida State, and Alabama.
"My heart already told me when I went up there," Brown said after announcing his decision. "I felt like I could trust Coach (Mike) London."
"He's staying true to his word, and being the honest man he always is," Brown said when asked about London.
Brown had 83 tackles, including 11 sacks, as a junior at Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake last season. UVa had long been considered the favorite to land Brown, who is graded as a consensus five-star prospect and the top defensive tackle in the country by the major recruiting websites.
Brown joins Bayside High School safety Quin Blanding -- who was in attendance at Brown's announcement on Saturday -- as five-star recruits in UVa's current recruiting class.
