Harris Named to Preseason All-ACC Squad

Virginia senior safety Anthony Harris picked up more preseason honors on Wednesday, being named to the preseason All-ACC team.

Harris has also been named to the preseason Walter Camp Player of the Year Watch List, the Bronko Nagurski Trophy Watch List, the preseason Bednarik Award Watch List and the preseason Jim Thorpe Award Watch List.

In 2013 as a junior, Harris led the nation with eight interceptions and set a UVa record with at least one interception in five straight games.

Defending national champion Florida State had nine members on the 26-man preseason All-ACC team, led by returning Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston.

Duke has four players on the squad, followed by Clemson and Virginia Tech with three players each; Miami has two while Boston College, Louisville, North Carolina, Syracuse and Virginia have one honoree apiece.
