Harris Returning to UVa for Senior Season

The nation's leader in interceptions will be back in the Virginia secondary in 2014.

Rising senior safety Anthony Harris announced on Twitter Wednesday afternoon that he would not be leaving school a year early for the NFL.

"Just to make things clear, I will be returning for my senior season," Harris tweeted.

Harris was a first-team All-ACC selection, and named a second-team All-American by the Walter Camp Football Foundation, after leading the country with eight interceptions as a junior in 2013. He was the Cavaliers' first All-American selection in five years.

Harris lost his position coach earlier this month, when Anthony Poindexter left UVa to become the new defensive coordinator at Connecticut.
