Virginia has made the NCAA Tournament every year under head coach Julie Myers and 2013 is no exception. The 9-9 Cavaliers earned an at-large berth in this season's field of 26.
Virginia will face Penn in the first round on Friday, with the winner playing host Georgetown on Sunday.
The Wahoos were on the brink of not qualifying for the Tournament, but an upset of Duke in the opening round of the ACC Tournament got the Cavs to 9-8. The Hoos would fall to No. 1 Maryland, the top seed in the NCAA field, in the semifinals to fall to 9-9. A team must have a .500 record to be considered for Tournament play.
