'Hoos Headed Back to NYC in November

The historic 2013-14 season for the Virginia men's basketball team came to an end last month, in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament at Madison Square Garden.

Now it appears the Cavaliers will be returning to New York City next season.

According to the official website for the Barclays Center, UVa is one of four teams set to compete in the third annual Barclays Center Classic. The two-day event will begin on November 28, the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Other teams listed for the Classic include Rutgers, Vanderbilt, and LaSalle, with matchups not yet announced. The Cavaliers are the 2014 NCAA Tournament participant in the field.

The Barclays Center has been home to the Brooklyn Nets since opening in September 2012. The arena will host the ACC Tournament in 2017 and 2018.
