Finals break is over for the Virginia women's basketball team. And so is the Cavaliers' four-game losing streak.
Faith Randolph scored a career-high 22 points off the bench, leading the Cavaliers to an 81-46 win at home against Maryland Eastern Shore Tuesday night. It was UVa's first game in 12 days, because of finals -- and the Cavs' first win since beating Liberty in Lynchburg on November 19.
The Cavaliers forced a season-high 35 turnovers as a team, including 22 steals.
Randolph shot 9-of-14 from the floor for the Cavaliers, including 4-of-6 on three-pointers. Senior Ataira Franklin added 11 points, seven rebounds, four assists, and four steals, while Lexie Gerson came up one point shy of her first career double-double, finishing with nine points and 10 rebounds.
