Lambert Listed as Starter on UVa Post-Spring Depth Chart

Rising sophomore quarterback Greyson Lambert is listed as the starter on the Virginia football team's post-spring depth chart. Rising junior David Watford, who started every game for UVa in 2013, is listed as a co-backup with rising sophomore Matt Johns.

Lambert and Watford were the only two players to appear at quarterback for the Cavaliers in 2013. Lambert threw for 340 yards, with a touchdown and two interceptions, but completed just 44 percent of his passes. Watford threw for 2,022 yards and eight touchdowns, with 15 interceptions and a 57.1 completion percentage.

In the Cavaliers' 2014 spring game, Lambert completed 18-of-31 passes for 220 yards, with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He was also named a captain for the 2014 season, as voted on by the team.

On the offensive line, rising junior Jay Whitmire is listed as the starter at left tackle after missing time in spring practice with an injury. Rising sophomore Eric Smith, who started the final eight games of the 2013 season, is listed as the starter at right tackle.

In the skill positions, rising sophomore Kyle Dockins and rising senior Miles Gooch are listed in the No. 1 spots at wide receiver. Rising senior Zachary Swanson is in the starting spot at tight end, after Jake McGee's departure. Kevin Parks, who rushed for 1,031 yards in his junior season, is the starter at running back once again.
