Over 300 local women filled Scott Stadium Friday night at the Mike London Football Camp for Women.

The ladies were able to run through the entrance tunnel onto the field at Scott Stadium, receive on-field instruction, go through X's and O's in the locker room and have dinner overlooking the field.

The event was put on by the Virginia football program and London was pleased with the result.

"Our staff, people that put this on, administrators, this was a whole football staff project, everyone was involved from top to bottom," he explained.

"I'm anxious to get some feedback on it but I thought there was a lot of people out here looking like they were a little sore from on field drills. But they had fun and that's the biggest thing."
