Virginia sophomore outfielder Mike Papi has garnered more All-America honors, this time from the website Perfect Game."
Kendall Rogers, the website's managing editor of college baseball, included Papi as a second-team choice on his list of college All-Americans released on Thursday. That came a day after Papi received first-team All-America honors from Baseball America.
Papi began the season as a reserve on the Virginia baseball team, and didn't enter the everyday lineup until a month into the season. But he finished the year with a .381 batting average, and his .517 on-base percentage currently ranks second in the country.
