No. 4 Virginia Crushes Wake, Wins Eighth Straight

No. 4 Virginia stretched its winning streak to a school-best eight matches with a 6-1 win at Wake Forest Sunday. Virginia improved its record to 17-4 overall and 11-1 in the ACC.

The Cavaliers won the doubles point and Danielle Collins, Stephanie Nauta, Maci Epstein, Caryssa Peretz and Li Xi each posted singles victories to complete the weekend sweep. Virginia also defeated NC State 7-0 on Saturday and hasn’t lost since a 4-3 setback at Georgia on March 12.

Virginia continues ACC action at Florida State on April 18.
