Oday Aboushi may have been the only Virginia Cavalier to be selected in the NFL Draft, but a trio of his former teammates also signed on with NFL teams Saturday night.
LaRoy Reynolds, Paul Freedman and Perry Jones were undrafted free agents following the completion of Saturday's Draft but they didn't have to wait long to catch on with new teams.
Reynolds agreed to terms with the Jacksonville Jaguars while Freedman is headed to Dallas to try and make it with the Cowboys. Jones struck a deal with the defending Super Bowl Champion Baltimore Ravens.
Reynolds was a team captain at linebacker for Virginia and an All-ACC Honorable Mention in 2012. Freedman started 10 of the 12 Cavaliers' games at tight end and had one touchdown catch. Jones, like Reynolds, was also a senior captain. The running back finished his career as a Cavalier ninth on the school's all-time all-purpose yardage list.
