Virginia rising sophomore quarterback David Watford can expect to be a busy man on Saturday afternoon.
Virginia released the rosters for Saturday's Orange-Blue spring football game on Thursday, with Watford listed on both teams. Watford has been working as the No. 2 quarterback behind rising junior Michael Rocco this spring.
Rocco and the rest of the first-team offense are listed on the Orange team, along with the second-team defense. The defensive starters and reserves on offense -- including true freshman quarterback Greyson Lambert, an early enrollee this spring -- are on the Blue team.
Rising sophomore wide receiver EJ Scott is also listed on both rosters.
The school also listed 14 players who won't play on Saturday, most notably returning starters Luke Bowanko and Oday Aboushi (offensive line), Colter Phillips (tight end), and Steve Greer (linebacker). All four players have been held out of spring practice because of injuries.
Coach Mike London said Thursday that the game will consist of four eight-minute quarters. He also said the game will feature punts and field goal attempts, as the Cavaliers look for new starters at both positions, but no kickoffs or returns.
