The Virginia softball team moved to 11-2 on the season with an 8-3 win over St. Joseph's Sunday at The Park.

The Cavs swept Ohio in two games Friday, then came back and beat St. Joe's and Colgate Saturday.

Erica Cippoloni started the scoring in the first for UVa, as her single to left and an error on St. Joe's scored Taylor Williams. A few batters later, Stephanie Harris punched a base hit through the right side to score two more runs and give the Hoos a 3-0 lead.

Junior Melanie Mitchell picked up the win on the mound for Virginia.

The Wahoos next travel to Florida for the Citrus Classic this weekend.
