Two Cavaliers Named Preseason All-ACC

The 2012 All-ACC preseason football team released on Wednesday included Virginia seniors Oday Aboushi and Steve Greer.

Aboushi has started the last 25 games on the offensive line for Virginia, and was named second-team all-conference following the 2011 season. He was second in the voting at offensive tackle (behind NC State's James Hurst), beating teammate Morgan Moses by one vote.

Greer was also a second-team All-ACC selection in 2011, after finishing seventh in the conference with a team-high 103 tackles in 12 games. Greer is recovering from a knee injury that forced him to miss the Chick-fil-A Bowl. Greer was third in the voting at linebacker behind North Carolina's Kevin Reddick, and Bruce Taylor of Virginia Tech.

Two other Virginia seniors -- running back Perry Jones and tight end Colter Phillips -- finished fourth in the preseason All-ACC voting at their positions.
